and to coincide with the premier, another great banksy piece appeared in a parking lot downtown. i think this is one of my favourites of his for a while...seems to be very old school banksy, and sits very nicely with baloon girl!
i was lucky enough to be invited to the la premier of banksy's movie this week....have to admit it was great...funny and gave an insight into his world...a little bit. worth checking out!
one of the most stylish men in history, he was responsible for my lifelong interest in fashion. the sex pistols have always been one of my favourite bands, and malcolm has always been in my peripheral vision. a true raconteur who didn't give a fuck what anyone thought, rest in peace malcolm mclaren!
another of my favourite images of all time, taken by pennie smith, and is the cover for the seminal clash album ' london calling'. Taken at the New York Palladium, september 21st, 1979. "I remember thinking something was wrong, realising Paul was going to crack - and waited. The shot is out of focus because I ducked - he was closer than it looks" Pennie Smith.
number nine for converse...check out that lacing! just fantastic. the guys at number nine always manage to find that little twist that is subversive yet sublime!
