behold the latest offering from my favourite watch company, bremont. the u2...named after the stealth bomber and, as with their mb2, it comes in 2 models, one for the public (top model) and one which will be worn by every u2 crew member which has their squadron logo on the dial (bottom). utilising the new dlc coating, it is completely scratch resistant and has been tested up to 100,000 feet in the air!

i bought my son one of these anthony bros convert-o bikes last christmas...
love the design- they've been making exactly the same product since 1945 with no upgrades...how many things around today are that original?! and the coolest thing is the back axle comes out and you put one of the smaller wheels in its place to make a 2-wheeler....fantastic forward thinking design!

just picked up my copy of yul brynner, a photographic journey.
great book that shows all sides of this amazing man as an actor, and as a photographer behind the scenes.
i reallu have to make an effort to carry a camera at all times. inspiring!

my friend jason alper (the man who created the characters for sasha baron cohen) had a show last week at guy hepner in la..the work was incredible! an amazing pop art take on pop art! want one of everything please!!

last night i had the pleasure of going to the opening of a lillian bassman show at paul smith, possibly the most beautiful store in la. not only did i get to see a bunch of old friends and meet and chat to the incredibly talented and nice gary oldman and his stunning wife alexander, but i got to see ms bassman's photgraphs close up. i love the illustrative quality of them. she was way ahead of her time...sadly she couldn't make it, she's 93 and a little frail. but wow! amazing work!
