i'm beginning to wonder if i should change the title of my blog to 'bookcases of the world'
but you have to admit this is an amazing space saving design that looks beautiful too! i love that you can configure the bookcases how you want and even close the room off totally if you like...fantastic!

possibly one of the most beautiful sunglasses ever made has been re-issued in honour of their most famous and stylish advocate, steve mcqueen. nearly every photo you see of him wearing sunglasses, it's these folding persols...throwback cool!

with so much badness going on in the world right now, i think we all need a smile a day to keep us sane! i'm going to attempt to post something to make us smiles every day for the next week...
this did just that for me! love a piece of art that has a sense of humour, and this sculpture by turkish artist mehmet ali uysal in leige, belgium most certainly does!

keeping on my theme of obsessing about libraries, this bookcase in the sky ranch house in seattle is amazing...run's the length of the house...
the architects, miller hull partnership did an amazing job building this house on top of a marina in the warehouse district..
i could live here quite happily!
